A. Registration
  1. How do I sign up?
    Firstly, register online at our Home Page "Sign Up" button. The registration takes only a few minutes.

  2. Is there any fee to register for Apexegame?
    No, Apexegame is free to use. A simple registration is needed before you can start to play the game.

B. Technical
  1. For optimal performance of Apexegame, the following requirements are recommended:
    • Internet-enabled PC or notebook with Intel Core2Duo(1GHz) or higher CPU
    • At least 2GB of RAM
    • Windows 7 or above
    • Available Hard disk space 15MB and above
    • An e-mail Account

  2. What browser works best with Apexegame?
    Apexegame is best viewed with Google Chrome or any modern browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer 9.0 or above).

C. Security
  1. I've forgotten my password!
    • Click on 'Forgot Password' section
    • You will need to key in your Login ID to retrieve the hint to your password.
    • Answer to the hint and the system will generate a 6-digit temporary code and send to your registered email address.
    • Use this 6-digit temporary code to logon. Upon logon, you are required to change to your preferred password.

  2. What happens if my attempts to logon fail after several tries?
    For security reason, your online service will be deactivated if you key-in the wrong password three (3) times consecutively. If this occurs, please contact our CSRs at +603-7890 8811 for assistance.

  3. I have forgotten my Login ID?
    Please contact our CSRs at +603-7890 8811 for further assistance.

D. Trading
  1. What can I trade (buy and sell) on Apexegame?
    You can trade stocks that are listed on the Bursa Malaysia Exchange.

  2. When can I trade?
    You can trade 5 days a week (Monday – Friday) except on public holidays. Trading hours: 9.00am to 12.30pm (morning session) and 2.30pm to 5.00pm (afternoon session).

  3. How to view my order status?
    Click on "Order Book" in function menu bar and select "Order status" for viewing order status for the trading day.

  4. I would like to trace back by historical order?
    Click on "Order Book" in function menu bar, select "Order History", key in the order dates and click search button.

  5. Description of order status?
    Status Description
    Cancelled Your order has been successfully cancelled and is confirmed by the Exchange
    Expired Your orders has expired if it has not been matched by the time market closes on the day
    Filled Your order has been matched at the exchange
    Partially Filled Your order has been partially matched, with the match quantity shown
    Pending Queue Your order is accepted in the Apexegame but yet to be accepted by the Exchange
    Queued Your order has been sent and duly acknowledged by the Exchange
    Rejected Your order has been rejected. You may view the reason for rejection by right click your mouse pointer and select "Order Detail"
    Replaced Your request to reduce order quantity is confirmed by the Exchange

  6. Can I revise an order?
    You may revise a pending order that has not been matched in the market.
    A revision is only POSSIBLE for reduce of QUANTITY on order placed.
    Revision on order price is not allowed. You will have to cancel the order and submit a fresh order.

  7. How do I revise order quantity?
    • Click on the "Order Book" in function menu bar and select "Order Status"
    • Select the particular unmatched order
    • Right click your mouse pointer and select "Revise"
    • You will see the action in the order pad has been switched to "Revise"
    • Change the quantity of the order and click "Revise"

  8. Can I cancel an order?
    You may cancel any pending order that is not matched in the market.

  9. How do I cancel an order?
    • Click on the "Order Book" in function menu bar and select "Order Status"
    • Select the particular unmatched order
    • Right click your mouse pointer and select "Cancel"
    • You will see the action in the order pad has been switched to "Cancel"
    • Please click "Cancel" if you wish to cancel the said order

  10. What will happen to my unmatched orders at the end of a trading day?
    All unmatched orders for the day will expire at the end of that trading day.

  11. I wish to check my shares?
    Click on "Portfolio" menu and select "Equities Portfolio" for viewing of your shares.

    This portfolio will be automatically updated whenever buy or sell order has been matched.

  12. What is a contra transaction?
    A contra transaction takes place when you buy and sell the same counter/ stocks within T+2.

    It is a transaction where a Participating Organization allows its clients to settle outstanding purchase positions against outstanding sales positions of the same securities.

  13. How will I know how much is my trading limit?
    Trading limit is reflected in the main page named "Order Pad".

  14. Is short selling allowed?
    Short selling is not allowed for ALL MARKETS.

  15. Can I view stock news?
    Yes. To view stock news of a particular stock, please follow the below steps:
    • Select the stock first,
    • By right click your mouse pointer and select "Stock News" tab
    • You will get the latest news updated in the main page announcement area.

  16. I am told "you cannot trade this stock". Why?
    This message indicates a stock is currently suspended from trading.

  17. Corporate Actions.
    • Dividend payout will not be credited to client's account.
    • Any shares derived from corporate action will be credited to the account on ex-date.
